Twin Dial CO2 Gauges

Essential equipment for use with CO2 systems. The connector goes straight onto any re-fillable cylinder (disposable cylinders require an adapter). The high pressure gauge shows cylinder pressure, the other shows output pressure, easily adjustable from 0-4 bar.

Solenoid Valve

The ideal way to control CO2 additions to either a Calcium Reactor or planted tank setup. Simply set your controller, plug in the solenoid and go.

Non Return valve

Another piece of essential equipment. Installing a non-return valve between your calcium reactor and gauges can prevent water getting back into the gauges when the cylinder runs out.

Aqua Medic Titan

The Aqua Medic Titan chiller represents a significant step forward in aquarium cooler engineering, offering state of the art technology at highly competitive prices. Temperatures in aquaria ranging from 100 to 4000 litres (c.25 to 1000 gallons) can now be quickly and economically maintained by selecting the correct model from the four chillers in the Titan range and, with a heat exchanger that is manufactured from high grade titanium alloy, the coolers are suitable for all applications in fresh or salt water aquariums.

Aqua Medic Mini

The thermoelectric Minicooler completes the line of the Aqua Medic Titan coolers at the lower end. It is designed for aquariums up to 150 l volume, especially to prevent overheating in coral reef aquariums. The cooler uses the thermoelectric method with peltier elements. This methos is only economic for low capacities.

Deltec Eco-Cooler

The ECO cooler is environmentally friendly and economical and can be used for both salt and fresh water aquariums. The principle of the ECO cooler borrows its technology from water cooling towers used in industrial applications. Water from the aquarium is forced to evaporate which draws latent heat from the water thus cooling it down. Eco coolers are incredibly cheap to run and are much quieter than a refrigerant cooler.

Aqua Medic SK-Line

The SK-line flow through coolers have been designed for cooling aquaria with volumes between 240 and 4000 litres (65 - 1000 gallons). The units have been designed to be environmentally friendly, using refrigerant 134A, and they are constructed to the highest engineering standards. With no metals exposed in the heat exchanger, the aquarium water is only in contact with totally inert materials, making the units completely suitable for the most demanding applications. Astrea Snails

Astrea snails grow to around 1 inch. They are Herbivorous and will eat away at the algae that grows on the rocks & glass. Fully Reef-safe. Feed mainly at night and are low maintenance.

Red Leg Hermits

Red Legs are excellent for eating waste detritous, slime and diatom algae. Their antics also make them an interesting and colourful addition to any tank.

Sea Cucumber

An amusing and slow moving addition to the aquarium. Cucumbers clean sand by consuming it and pooping it back out cleaner than when it went in! **nb - Colour & Pattern may vary**

Green Emerald Crabs

All our Emerald crabs are supplied with a voracious appetite. Known to eat small Valonia and can be used as a control method. We recommend one crab per 10 gallons.

Serpent Stars

Night-time scavengers that will collect any uneaten scraps of food that cross their path. An interesting and useful cleaner. **nb: colour may vary**

Arrow Crabs

A general scavenger, known for eating bristleworms. These crabs will still scavenge on any scraps they can grab hold of, but will still eat those bristleworms.

One of larger species, Tridacna Derasa can reach 1 metre in length and weigh over 80Kgs! Colours vary from solid chocolate brown to blue through to dappled yellow and brown. It is common for the mantle to have an irridescent blue or green edge. Once they close their byssal opening they're happy on a sandy bottom. Until then they do best when attached to a rock or old shell.

This system is designed and built to typical German high standards and is an incredibly flexible system allowing up to 8 sensor connections, in any combination and up to 16 controlled outputs. The degree of programming detail possible is very wide with options for accurate simulation of natural conditions to suite even the most demanding set ups.

IKS Midi

Up to two water values (e.g. pH and temperature) are permanently monitored by the IKS Aquastar Midi and can be regulated via switch sockets. A single switch socket is included in the basic version and can have any function allocated to it. A two-line text display and a large LED display panel ensure a high level of operating comfort and excellent legibility of the readings even in the dark and from further away. With the optional external display, you can read your latest measurement data even in another room. Essential for connecting your Neptune Aquacontroller to appliances is the control module. Simply pug into any available socket and connect to your aquacontroller with the included cable.

X-10 Module

The appliance module is a receiver unit that works as a remote controlled switch or relay. The connected load can be used at any wall sockets in the house. The appliance module can switch incandescent lamps up to 500W, appliances with electric motors up to 250W, halogen floor lamps with foot dimmer up to 500W or resistive loads of up to 16A (13A fuse fitted). As the X-10 switch is simply inserted into wall sockets like an ordinary plug, there is no installation to be carried out.

X-10 Lamp Module

The lamp module is a 300W receiver unit that works as a remote dimmer. The connected lamp can still be switched on and off locally. The dimmer function, however, is an X-10 remote control. The dimmer module can be used at any wall sockets in the house with incandescent lamps between 60W and 300W. As the X-10 dimmer is simply inserted into wall sockets like an ordinary plug, there is no installation to be carried out.

Serial Cable

In order to connect the AquaController to a PC, a serial connection is required. This serial cable is 6 foot long with a minidin 8 connector (plugs into the AquaController) on one end and a female DB9 connector on the other. The Ground Isolated cable should be used for permanent connections or where a ground loop is interfering with redox and Ph readings.

CoralVue Electronic Ballasts

The electronic ballast is an important energy-saving unit used for metal halide lamps. Its job is to fire the lamps and stabilize the operating current. This ballast can save energy by more than 30%. The ballast has a self-protected circuit, which is controlled automatically. If power is removed or lost from the ballast it will take approximately 7 minutes for the ballast to fire the lamp again. Internal motor driven protein skimmer for aquaria up to 400 litre ( 100 Gallons) The Turboflotor 750 is a compact, motor driven internal protein skimmer. A large volume machanical pre-filter is attached to the pump. The 10-watt venturi pump, with needle wheel, automatically draws in air and mixes it with the air aquarium water. The resulting air/water mixture is forced into the reaction cylinder (75 mm, 3 inch diameter). An expansion cone with a post-filter is attached the lower end of the cylinder. Just like the smaller models, they feature venturi pumps (Ocean Runner 3500) which include a patented needle wheel for optimal mixing of the air and water. The reaction cylinder has a diameter of 200 mm (c. 8 inches). Above the cylinder, the patented conical foam cup improves the production of foam. The inlets and outlets of the skimmer are designed to ensure an extensive contact time for the air bubbles within the counter-current. To supply the skimmer with water, a separate pump with a capacity of 2000 - 4000 litres per hour (500 - 1000 gph), e.g. Ocean Runner 3500, is needed.

Powerful new skimmers for in cabinet installation From the successful Turboflotor 5000 series we have developed powerful these protein skimmers for cabinet installation. They close the gap between the Turboflotor 1000 multi – for aquaria up to 500 litre (150 gal) and the Turboflotor 5000 baby for aquaria from 1000 - 2000 litre 250 - 500 gal). The Shorties are manufactured in 2 sizes to fit into most aquarium cabinets. Like the larger models, they are supplied with a venturi pump and our patented needle wheel. The water supply to the skimmer requires a second pump with a capacity of minimum 2000 l/h (500 gph). The skimmer may also be directly connected to the overflow of the aquarium. Contactor

A Low Cost Solution To Timer Failure.

Domestic plug in timers are not designed to switch On/Off HID control gear as used in modern ballasts leading to timer and ultimately lamp failure.

Our Contactor is a plug-in-line solution and is capable of switching 4 x 250w lights , 4 x 400w lights , 3 x 600w lights, or 1 x 1000w light in conjunction with one of our Timers. Our Contactors are complete with a twin trailing socket as standard.

Caribsea Aragamax 30lb

Also known as Sugar Sand this is the finest grade sand from CaribSea. Ideal for Deep Sand Beds, in a refugium or for a thin layer to finish the main display in your tank.

Seaflor Special 30lb

1.25 - 1.95 mm diameter grain size. A revolution in reef-keeping! This is the one you’ve been reading about in all the hobbyist publications. This grade of aragonite is specifically engineered for plenum-type nitrate reducing beds or anywhere a deeper bed is called for. The pore water space created by precision grading also allows maximum pH support and dissolution of calcium carbonate.

Aragamax Grand Bahama 30lb

Primarily composed of 0.2-1.2mm grains, but with additional 'rubble' compsed of small rubble and shells to recreate the Caribbean reef "Rubble Zone". The larger pieces of aragonite add color and texture, and allow burrowing creatures to build and reinforce their tunnels.

Caribsea Reef Bones 40lb
